A healthy diet for a perfect skin
Forget about that pizza and start eating healthy food if you want to have a flawless skin. A good diet is the key for a healthy life and a healthy body.
Are your meals composed mostly on complex carbohydrates like potatoes, sugar and white bread? If this is true, your face will pay for this. Specialists say that complex carbohydrates increase the insulin level and this is one of the causes for those unaesthetic pimples and blackheads.
On the other hand if your diet is low on fats, your skin will become dry. People with dry skin have more wrinkles. Although a low fat diet is the key to a slim figure, reducing your fat intake too much will cause your skin to get dry. But there are some methods to keep your body slim and your skin perfect like eating more olive oil and more fish. The fats contained by these products are healthy and will not alter your shape.
Our skin has another big enemy: cigarettes. Not only smoking dries your skin but it also restricts blood vessels and your skin stops receiving the vitamins it needs to stay healthy. Whenever you want to light a cigarette, think about the effects it has on your beautiful skin.
So my conclusion is that you have to respect three important rules to keep your skin healthy: stop smoking (or at least reduce the amount of cigarettes), eat less carbohydrates and more healthy fats.
