Magazines, TV and mostly friends usually create false ideas about certain issues. Cellulite is a subject which concerns all of us and sometimes you hear different opinions about it but you have to be careful because not all of them are true.

    If you drink a lot of water you will get rid of your cellulite. False- if you don’t suffer from dehydration, water will not help and in some cases it will make it worse because after all, cellulite is composed of fat tissue and water.

  2. A good exercise routine prevents cellulite. False again. Even athletes have cellulite but a good exercise routine keeps our muscles fortified and our body healthy.
  3. Liposuction gets rid of cellulite. False. Actually liposuction can make cellulite worse. Liposuction is not a simple surgery and its purpose is to eliminate fat deposits, not cellulite.
  4. Only women have cellulite. False. It’s a little discriminating, isn’t it? Well, the truth is that men have cellulite too but the cases are very rare. This happens to the men who have a low testosterone level, a passive lifestyle and a diet rich in fats.
