Top Five Health and Beauty Tips on the Cheap!

Like loads of young women I have a stressful job that I don’t really want, I get up early in the morning to commute across town, party hard at night and basically end up feeling and looking like I’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards! So how do you stay feeling and looking healthy with today’s modern hectic lifestyle? One option is to attend clinics specialising in beauty treatment for the little things, such as laser hair removal maidenhead. However, there’s also a few little things that I do to make myself feel and look good with minimum effort, so here goes!

1) Have a night off from drinking. I know it’s tricky (well it is for me anyway!) to turn down a drink on a night out but every once in a while it’s good to give your liver a break. I don’t know about you but whenever I’ve been drinking the next morning my skin is so dry. Turning down the odd session can do wonders for your skin!

2) Give your feet a treat! Your feet work so hard (well mine do anyway!) so once a week give them a soak and massage in some foot oil. Ahh lovely!

3) Drink loads of water. It’s so boring but oh so true!

4) Get a facial. I know it’s expensive but every so often I treat myself to a facial and you really can see the difference. I’ve tried giving myself a facial at home but it’s really not the same as having a dedicated professional doing it.

5) Play badminton. I know it’s not an especially glamorous sport but it’s honestly really good fun and it gets your heart thumping like crazy. Excellent!

Those are my top five tips to make yourself feel and look better than you actually are. I live on a bit of a budget at the moment so for me it’s important to find the little simple things in life that in the long run make a big difference. Right I’m off to drink water and play badminton!
